ProActive Training
Typically, you will be interested in an integrated system for either collecting, storing and managing pipeline survey data (including CIS and DCVG survey data) or collecting, storing and managing site survey data (annual & bi-monthly inspection data). It should be noted, however, that the ProActive system supports both scenarios simultaneously.
Site Survey Related Training (Annual & Bi-monthly Inspections)
The major focus areas in the site survey related training course offered by M. C. Miller are as follows: First, how to create routes using ProActive and how to download route information to M. C. Miller data-loggers (or how to generate Excel spreadsheets for manual data-entry). Second, how to upload collected site survey data to ProActive and how to update your server with the newly-collected data (in the case of the Client/Server & eProActive versions of the ProActive system). Third, how to manage site survey data in ProActive, including how to generate graphical and textual reports.
Pipeline Survey Related Training
In our pipeline survey related training course, we cover the physical principles of CIS and DCVG surveys and how to actually conduct such surveys using the M. C. Miller equipment. The training targets the particular data-logger that has been purchased. In addition, functionality training is provided on the use of ProActive, in terms of how to manage pipeline survey data, including how to generate graphical and textual reports.
In each case, our training involves an integrated approach to the use of ProActive in conjunction with our data-loggers.
