The M.C. Miller Line of Electrodes
All copper sulfate electrodes are shipped dry but include a charge of high-purity
copper sulfate crystals. A protective cap for the CPT porous plug is also
supplied. Special lengths of RE-5, RE-5C and RE-7 are available on special order.
Use and maintenance instructions are furnished with each electrode.
Model RE-5
(Cat. #15108)
Price
$58.00
Standard Model. Flat CPT Porous Plug, for general use in soil.
Approximate overall Size: 1 3/8" dia. x 6" long. Dry weight: 4oz.
Model RE-5C
(Cat. #15210)
Price $63.00
Similar to Model RE-5 except supplied with a cone-shaped CPT
porous plug. For use in soft soils. Provides lower contact
resistance. When pushed into soft soils, the shape of the plug
helps the electrode to "stand up." Approximate overall size: 1
3/8" dia. X 6 3/4" long. Dry weight: 5 oz.
Model RE-5/U
(Cat. #15109)
Price $84.00
Can be mounted at any angle (360o) for upside down use on underside of bridge decks, parking garages, etc.
Model RE-7
(Cat. #15301)
Price $52.50
Long, slim model with beveled CPT porous plug. For general
purpose use in soil or in a 1" diameter augured hole in
pavement.
Approximate overall size: 1" dia. x 8 ½" long. Dry weight: 5oz.
Model RE-3A
(Cat. #14909)
Price $89.50
Large diameter (3") flat CPT porous plug provides greater
contact area. Flat plug provides lower contact resistance than
rounded or serrated plug when placed in direct contact with
flat surfaces. Especially useful on pavements, dry sand,
frozen soil, etc. Stands by itself.
Approximate overall size: 3" dia. x 5" long. Dry weight: 16oz.
Free-Standing Electrodes
With RE-5C (Cat. #15310)
Price $84.75
With RE-7 (Cat. #15315)
Price $84.75
- Easy to use
- Made of durable plastic
- Stainless steel clips
- Includes 1 RE-5C or RE-7 electrode
- Withstands extreme cold, hot and wet environments
For RE-5/5C (Cat. #15325)
Price $23.75
For RE-7 (Cat. #15320)
Price $23.75

Sponge Bottle
The MCM Surfactant Reservoir w/Electrode has been developed as a “special” test electrode for corrosion control / cathodic
protection testing of reinforced steel in concrete typically found in bridge decks, parking garages, and
driveway slabs. The apparatus consists of a special version of the MCM RE-7 series Cu/CuSO4 electrode. This unit has a
surfactant receiver for holding a “wetting agent” and an integrated dispensing sponge for wetting the surface of
the concrete at the prospective test location.
With Copper Sulfate Electrode (Cat. #15625) Price $126.00
With Silver Chloride Electrode (Cat. #15624) Price $273.00

Model PH-50
(Cat. #14700)
Price $105.00
Antimony Reference Electrode
Used in conjunction with a Copper / Copper Sulfate reference
electrode and voltmeter to measure the pH of soil. The tube
assembly of the electrode is etched with the conversion table
of millivolts to pH.
Approximate overall size: 7/8" dia. X 8" long.
Antimony Electrode Operating Instructions can be found here.
